Rain or Shine beats Magnolia 114-110 in Game 5

Rain or Shine overcame an early 12-point deficit to defeat Magnolia, 114-110, in Game 5 of the PBA Season 49 Governors' Cup quarterfinals on Saturday at Ynares Center in Antipolo.

Andrei Caracut's clutch performance late in the game helped Rain or Shine secure their spot in the semifinals with a decisive victory.

Coach Yeng Guiao praised Andrei Caracut, noting that his tough-minded approach has paid off as Caracut delivered key baskets to outlast Magnolia despite pressure from the veteran squad.

Rain or Shine will face defending champion TNT Tropang Giga in a best-of-seven series for the next round starting on Wednesday, October 9.

Coach Guiao believes Rain or Shine's youth-laden team has gained valuable experience by overcoming Magnolia and is better prepared to challenge TNT.
