Magnolia beats Rain or Shine 129-100 in Game 4 of PBA Governors' Cup

Magnolia defeated Rain or Shine 129-100 in Game 4 of their PBA Governors' Cup quarterfinal series on Tuesday at Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

Paul Lee led Magnolia with a vintage performance, scoring 25 points as the team outscored Rain or Shine 36-18 in the second quarter to take control early.

Coach Chito Victolero praised his players for their focus and determination, noting that they had overcome a shaky start to secure another chance at advancing to the semifinals.

Jabari Bird contributed strongly with 30 points while Jerrick Ahanmisi added 14 markers; however, Zavier Lucero missed the game due to an injury sustained in Game 3.

The series is now tied 2-2 and will go to a decisive Game 5 on Saturday, October 5, at the Ynares Center in Antipolo. Magnolia's Zavier Lucero is expected to return if cleared by a CT scan scheduled for Wednesday.
