Iloilo suspends HK flights over nCoV

Iloilo province has suspended direct Hong Kong flights to and from Iloilo International Airport from February 4 to March 29 due to concerns over the novel coronavirus (nCoV).

Before the suspension, there will be a departure flight from Iloilo to Hong Kong on February 2 and an arrival flight from Hong Kong to Iloilo on February 3.

Iloilo Governor Arthur Defensor Jr. requested Cebu Pacific Air to voluntarily cease international flights to and from countries with confirmed nCoV cases.

The Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ) in Iloilo conducts thermal scanning for incoming passengers from Hong Kong and Singapore, where cases have been reported.
