QC sets up special lanes for A2, A3 priority groups

Quezon City is setting up special vaccination lanes for priority groups A2 (senior citizens) and A3 (adults with comorbidities) to encourage them to get vaccinated.

Mayor Joy Belmonte stated that only one-third of the city's senior citizen population has received their Covid-19 vaccines, urging more elderly residents to protect themselves against the virus.

The city is implementing strategies such as dedicated registration venues and home service for immobile individuals to address vaccine hesitancy among the elderly.
