A4 workers begin COVID-19 vaccinations amid limited supply

Economic frontliners began receiving COVID-19 vaccines on June 7 in Pasay City.

About 35 million workers are part of the A4 priority group for vaccinations.

Health Secretary Duque advised local governments to prioritize those aged 40 to 59 due to limited vaccine supply.

Vaccination sites in Manila reported running out of slots as early as 7 a.m. on June 8.

The rollout will initially start in four malls with 750 doses each, focusing on the National Capital Region and nearby provinces.
