Fingerprint test confirms QC stabbing victim is Echanis

Quezon City Police District confirmed through a fingerprint test that one of the bodies from a reported stabbing incident is Anakpawis chairman Randy Echanis.

Despite his wife positively identifying the body as her husband on Monday, August 10, police initially expressed doubts due to an identification card bearing the name Manuel Santiago found at the crime scene.

QCPD chief Brigadier General Ronnie Montejo confirmed the results of the fingerprint test in a press briefing on Wednesday, August 12.
