Police seize P4.8M worth of shabu in three ops

On Monday morning, February 24, anti-narcotics agents in Barangay Camino Nuevo, Zamboanga City, seized P15.6 million worth of shabu from three drug traffickers and arrested Aharayam Jaidi, Nurhayna Sampang, and Maeng Omar.

Separately, on Sunday, February 23, authorities arrested a drug pusher named Almejer O. Jikuron and seized suspected shabu valued at P6.8 million during another buy-bust operation in Luuk town, Sulu province.

On Wednesday morning, February 27, the Muntinlupa police arrested two women after they sold shabu to an undercover officer in Alabang, leading to the seizure of a total of 55 grams of shabu valued at P374,000 and several counterfeit bills.

The buy-bust operation was conducted by the Muntinlupa Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit, resulting in the arrest of suspects identified as Nobaisa, 38, and Milla, 34, who are now detained at the Muntinlupa police's custodial facility facing charges for violation of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) and Section 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) under Republic Act 9165.

The confiscated shabu will undergo laboratory examination at the Southern Police District Forensic Unit, while Brig. Gen. Manuel Abrugena emphasized that drug-related activities will not be tolerated in their jurisdiction.
