PDEA arrests 13 drug suspects in Sulu and Sultan Kudarat

On Monday, February 17, agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested an alleged drug den maintainer and ten other drug suspects in Indanan, Sulu.

Separately on Thursday, February 20, PDEA-12 conducted an entrapment operation in Barangay Kapingkong in Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat, arresting a drug den operator and his two accomplices.

The three suspects were caught selling P51,000 worth of shabu to PDEA agents during a tradeoff at their hideout where they facilitated pot sessions for a fee.

Municipal officials and barangay leaders in Lambayong supported the operation, confirming that drug paraphernalia and narcotics were found at the premises.

The detainees from both operations are currently held facing charges under Republic Act (RA) 9165.
