4 drug dealers arrested, P2.587M worth shabu seized

On Wednesday, February 19, and Friday, February 21, authorities in Naga City and Pili town arrested four suspected drug dealers and seized a total of P2.587 million worth of shabu.

In Naga City, two individuals were apprehended; a 19-year-old student and a 33-year-old man identified as Joven during an operation in Barangay Triangulo at around 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19.

On Friday, February 21, Gui Lipa, 48, was arrested for selling shabu to an undercover agent in Pili town's Barangay San Agustin and another suspect, a 33-year-old man, was arrested in Naga City’s Barangay Balatas at around 5:06 p.m.

From the suspects in Naga City, five sachets containing 500 grams of shabu worth P2.3 million were seized, while Lipa had three sachets totaling 55 grams and valued at P253,000 confiscated from him.

Both individuals arrested are facing charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 for their involvement in drug trafficking.
