P944K shabu, illegal firearms seized in Rizal, Quezon

On Tuesday night, April 23, and Friday, April 26, police seized illegal firearms and shabu worth over P944,000 from drug suspects in Antipolo City, Binangonan, Rizal, and Lucena City.

In Antipolo City, two illegal firearms and shabu worth P306,000 were confiscated on April 23; while in Binangonan, police arrested a suspect named 'Jervi' who was selling shabu to undercover officers on Thursday, April 25.

In Lucena City, three suspects were arrested and seized more than P508,000 worth of shabu and an illegal firearm during two separate operations on Friday.

The suspects are facing charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and RA 10591 for illegal possession of firearms.

Authorities continue to investigate the source of the drugs and firearms, with confiscated guns undergoing ballistic examinations to determine if they were used in past crimes.
