Policemen seize P13.9M shabu, arrest 3 suspects in Cotabato

Policemen seized P13.9 million worth of 'shabu' during a buy-bust operation in Pigcawayan, Cotabato on Tuesday.

The suspects, identified as Marhaya Aziz Abdullah (36), Kadapi Karim Jaca (45), and Ridzmer Nasher Abdulkara (38) from Zamboanga City and Sulu, were arrested at the Red High Heel Hotel in Barangay Balogo around 5:30 a.m.

Brig. Gen. Percival Augustus P. Placer, director of Police Regional Office 12, led the operation along with the Philippine National Police (PNP)-Drug Enforcement Group (DEG) and other regional units.

During the arrest, police confiscated a Glock 17 9mm pistol and later impounded a white Toyota Fortuner used to transport the drugs from Zamboanga City.

The suspects are now in custody at Pigcawayan Municipal Police Station awaiting prosecution.
