Police arrest 5 high-value drug traffickers, seize PHP5.2M in drugs

Police anti-narcotics agents in Rizal, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Pangasinan, and Pampanga provinces arrested five high-value drug traffickers over the past week, seizing a total of P5.218 million worth of shabu.

In Teresa, Rizal, Kenneth was apprehended at 9:44 p.m. on Monday after selling a pack of shabu to a poseur buyer in Barangay San Gabriel with five sachets containing 100 grams of shabu worth P680,000 and an undocumented .38 revolver loaded with five bullets.

In General Trias City, Cavite, Lea was arrested at 12:10 a.m. on Tuesday in Barangay San Francisco during a buy-bust operation.

'Danilo,' 32, and 'Alvin,' 27, were apprehended in Laguna on Sunday evening with 500 grams of shabu worth P3.4 million.

In Binmaley, Pangasinan, Herodutus Marquez and Joseph Tadeo, high-value targets with a combined PHP1.3 million worth of shabu, were arrested during a buy-bust operation on Monday.

On Wednesday in Sapang Biabas village, Mabalacat City, Pampanga, agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested five suspects inside a drug den and seized some P88,400 worth of shabu.
