Philippines Maintains Alert Level 3 for Metro Manila and Other Areas Until January 31

The government has maintained Alert Level 3 for Metro Manila and other areas until January 31 due to rising COVID-19 cases.

NCR, Baguio City, Ifugao, Mountain Province, Dagupan City, Ilocos Sur, Santiago City in Region 2, Cagayan, Angeles City, Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Olongapo City, Pampanga, Zambales, Rizal, Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Lucena City, Marinduque, Romblon, Camarines Norte, Catanduanes, Naga City, Sorsogon, Iloilo City, Iloilo, Negros Occidental, Guimaras, Lapu-Lapu City, Bohol, Cebu province, Negros Oriental, Ormoc City, Biliran, Eastern Samar, Leyte, Northern Samar, Southern Leyte, Western Samar, City of Isabela in Region 9, Zamboanga City, Zamboanga del Sur, Bukidnon, Iligan City, Misamis Occidental, Misamis Oriental, Davao del Sur, Davao del Norte, General Santos City, South Cotabato, Surigao del Sur, Agusan del Norte, Lanao del Sur are under Alert Level 3 from January 16 to 31.

Additionally, Benguet, Kalinga and Abra in Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), La Union, Ilocos Norte and Pangasinan in Region 1, Nueva Vizcaya, Isabela and Quirino in Region 2, Nueva Ecija and Tarlac in Region 3, Quezon Province in Region 4-A, Occidental Mindoro and Oriental Mindoro in Region 4-B, Camarines Sur and Albay in Region 5 are under Alert Level 3 from January 14 to 31.

Bacolod City, Aklan, Capiz and Antique in Region 6, Cebu City and Mandaue City in Region 7, Tacloban City in Region 8, Cagayan de Oro City in Region 10, Davao City in Region 11, Butuan City and Agusan del Sur in CARAGA, Cotabato City in BARMM are also under Alert Level 3 from January 14 to 31.
