Philippines' COVID-19 tally reaches four million

As of Thursday, Oct 27, the Philippines' COVID-19 case count reached four million with 1,551 new infections.

The active tally increased to 21,685 from 21,215 on Thursday.

NCR recorded the highest cases in recent two weeks followed by Calabarzon and Central Luzon.

Recovery tally increased to 3,915,139 while death toll now totals 63,959 with 38 new fatalities.

At least 14,083 individuals were tested on Thursday with 341 testing laboratories submitting data.

The bed occupancy in the country stood at 25% with 7,175 beds occupied and 21,486 vacant as of Wednesday.
