Metro Manila COVID-19 cases drop, Tarlac rate soars

The COVID-19 positivity rate in Metro Manila has decreased further to 11.6% as of October 25 from 14.6% the previous week.

New cases in NCR have been decreasing since October 1 with a one-week growth rate of -39%. Healthcare utilization and ICU occupancy rates are also low at 29% and 23%, respectively.

In contrast, Tarlac province has the highest positivity rate in the country at 50.6%, up from 41.6% on October 15.

Seven provinces across the Philippines have shown an increase in their positivity rates: Cagayan, Iloilo, Isabela, La Union, Misamis Oriental, Pangasinan, and Tarlac.
