PH starts minor COVID-19 vaccination on Nov 3

The Philippines will begin vaccinating minors aged 12-17 against COVID-19 on November 3.

Health Undersecretary Myrna Cabotaje announced that due to a stable vaccine supply, the rollout will be nationwide instead of phased.

Health Secretary Francisco Duque III said the government aims to fully vaccinate around 12.7 million minors by January 2022 or earlier in the first quarter.

The target is to vaccinate 80% of these minors by the end of December.
