Iloilo starts pediatric COVID-19 vaccinations

Iloilo province began pediatric COVID-19 vaccinations on Friday, November 5, with sixty minors aged 12 to 17 receiving vaccines at Aleosan District Hospital in Alimodian town.

Provincial Health Office chief Dr. Maria Socorro Quiñon reported no adverse events following the immunizations and noted that all rural health units can now administer vaccines province-wide.

Iloilo Provincial Administrator Suzette Mamon added that while the official launch was held in Alimodian, other local government units have already started vaccinating minors according to their own schedules.
