23,727 minors with comorbidities vaccinated against COVID-19

As of Thursday, 23,727 minors with comorbidities aged 12 to 17 have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

Health Undersecretary Myrna Cabotaje reported that only 25 adverse events followed immunization (AEFI), three of which were serious cases involving anaphylaxis requiring medical intervention.

The other AEFIs included mild allergies, rashes, and pain at the injection site, similar to reactions seen in measles and rubella vaccinations.

Some children experienced anxiety-related symptoms like fainting and palpitations.
