PH recoveries hit 2.67M; active cases drop to 53K

The Philippines' total number of recovered COVID-19 cases reached 2,669,953 as of Tuesday, October 26.

On the same day, new recoveries accounted for 96.5% of the total case count, which stands at 2,765,672 since the start of the pandemic.

Active cases decreased to 53,642 from Monday's 57,763 with 4,393 new infections reported.

The distribution of active cases includes 74.8% mild, 6.7% asymptomatic, 2.4% critical, and 10.37% moderate cases.

Additionally, 135 new deaths were recorded, raising the death toll to 42,077.
