PNP logs 32 new COVID-19 cases, total infections reach 41,727

The Philippine National Police (PNP) recorded 32 additional COVID-19 cases among its personnel on Thursday, bringing the total number of infections to 41,727.

As of Thursday, 41,047 PNP members have recovered from the disease, while 557 are active cases and 123 have died.

In Eastern Visayas, almost all policemen (99.12%) have been vaccinated against COVID-19 as of Oct. 27, with only 98 personnel remaining unvaccinated due to medical conditions or other reasons.

Since September, the PNP has seen an 80% drop in active cases, from 3,217 on Sept. 17 to 655 on Wednesday.
