PH logs close to 11K new Covid-19 recoveries

On Sunday, February 14, the Philippines recorded an additional 10,967 recoveries from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 511,743.

The Department of Health (DOH) reported 1,928 new confirmed cases and eight new deaths on Sunday.

As of Sunday, active cases stood at 25,918 with a death toll of 11,515.

The DOH noted that about 86 percent of the active cases are mild, while 7.2 percent are asymptomatic, 2.9 percent severe, and 0.91 percent moderate.

Seven duplicates were removed from the total case count, with four reclassified as recoveries; one previously tagged recovery was reclassified as a death after validation.
