DOH logs 18 more UK variant cases, total now 62

The Department of Health (DOH) reported 18 new cases of the UK variant of COVID-19 on Sunday, bringing the total number of such cases in the Philippines to 62.

Thirteen of these new cases are returning overseas Filipinos who entered the country between January 3 and 27.

The remaining three cases are from the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), including two young males connected to a cluster in Samoki, Bontoc, Mountain Province, and one female linked to a La Trinidad cluster.
