Floodwaters recede in Marikina; cleanup begins

Floodwaters in parts of Marikina City are starting to recede on Friday after Typhoon Ulysses caused severe flooding.

Residents are beginning the cleanup process as floodwaters subside, but some areas like Barangay Tumana remain impassable due to thick mud left by the floods.

Vice President Leni Robredo reported that residents of Rodriguez in Rizal urgently need basic supplies such as clothing and food.
