Robredo coordinates Ulysses rescue with AFP

Vice President Leni Robredo has coordinated with the Armed Forces of the Philippines to assist residents affected by floods from Typhoon Ulysses in Cagayan and Isabela.

Robredo deployed her security team to coordinate rescue efforts and assured that Marine units were on their way, with an air rescue also being planned.

On Thursday, Robredo's office joined rescue efforts, calling for rubber boats to be lent to overwhelmed local government units.

She thanked Muntinlupa Mayor Jaime Fresnedi for offering two rubber boats and reported ongoing rescue operations in Marigold and Estrella Heights subdivisions in Rodriguez, Rizal.
