Residents cry for help as floods submerge homes

Residents of Rodriguez, Rizal and Pasig City waded through floodwaters on Thursday due to Typhoon Ulysses.

In Rodriguez, families cried for help from rooftops as fast-rising waters submerged their homes; some managed to transfer to higher houses.

Similar scenes were observed in Dela Costa Homes where residents lost appliances and food.

Pasig City residents also climbed roofs early morning and waded through floodwaters later to get food.

Rescue teams arrived around noon, bringing relief supplies to those evacuated and distributing items to those who stayed.
