Pangasinan tests over 800 for COVID-19, records new case

Pangasinan has conducted mass testing of over 800 front-liners and suspected cases for COVID-19, with initial results showing 267 negative cases.

The province aims to test a total of 4,000 individuals as part of its ongoing efforts to combat the virus.

A new case was reported on May 18th, bringing Pangasinan's total confirmed cases to 41, including 30 recoveries and nine deaths.

PHO chief Dr. Anna Ma. Teresa de Guzman emphasized the importance of following health protocols such as wearing face masks and maintaining physical distance to prevent a second wave of infections.
