PH COVID-19 cases rise to 13,434, recoveries reach 3K

The number of confirmed coronavirus disease cases in the Philippines has risen to 13,434 with 213 new cases reported on Thursday.

There are now 3,000 recoveries and 846 deaths from the virus.

Among the new cases, 98 were from Metro Manila and 98 from Region VII (Central Visayas), while the remaining 17 cases came from other regions.

The DOH reported monitoring several clusters of infections including 24 health facilities, 17 jails, 34 communities, and three workplaces.
