No new health worker COVID-19 cases or deaths

As of Wednesday May 20, no new COVID-19 cases or deaths among healthcare workers were reported; recoveries reached 1,018.

The total number of infected health workers remained at 2,315 with 35 deaths since May 11.

Nurses account for the majority of infections (842), followed by doctors (671), nursing assistants (144), medical technologists (84), and radiologic technologists (42).

The DOH also reported 279 new national cases, bringing the total to over 13,000; recoveries increased to 2,932 with five new deaths.
