Duque: No country tested entire pop for COVID-19

Health Secretary Duque and Presidential Spokesperson Roque both stated that no country has conducted COVID-19 testing for its entire population.

Duque noted during a virtual meeting of the House Committee on Health that mass testing typically involves only a portion of the population, such as 1% to 2%, with higher percentages in outbreak epicenters.

Roque clarified in an interview and press briefing that the government aims to test 1.5% to 2% of the Philippines' total population, similar to South Korea's approach.
