Pangasinan records 49 new coronavirus cases

Pangasinan recorded 49 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday, the highest spike in the province.

Twelve cases were from Bayambang town and thirteen from Dagupan city, mostly close contacts of previously recorded patients.

The PHO chief recommended the lockdown of specific areas with concentrated cases and urged the public to follow health protocols.

Pangasinan now has 158 active cases and a total of 582 confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic.
