Eastern Visayas reports 134 recoveries, 57 new cases, 8 deaths

As of September 12, Eastern Visayas reported 134 more recoveries from Covid-19, bringing the total to 2,945 with 710 active cases.

The region also recorded 57 new infections, increasing the total confirmed cases to 3,688 since March.

Additionally, as of September 9, eight more deaths were reported, raising the death toll to 33. Most of these deaths involved elderly patients or those with comorbidities such as kidney and cardiac diseases, hypertension, and diabetes.
