DOH reports 129 new recoveries in Cebu, situation remains concern

DOH-7 reported 129 new recoveries from COVID-19 in Cebu province on September 9, bringing the total number of recoveries to 161.

Cebu province now has only 606 active cases, while Cebu City has 360 active cases, which is 3.7% of its total cases since February.

Dr. Mary Jean Loreche, DOH-7 chief pathologist and spokesperson, expressed concern about the situation in Cebu province and urged residents to adhere to minimum health standards and get tested aggressively.

As of September 6, 84% of the total reported COVID-19 cases in Central Visayas have recovered.
