PAGASA: Rain, flash floods risk for Visayas, Palawan, Bicol, Quezon, Aurora, Isabela, Cagayan

Most parts of the Philippines will continue experiencing rain due to easterly conditions on Tuesday, according to PAGASA.

Visayas and Palawan may expect scattered rain showers and thunderstorms that could lead to flash floods or landslides during severe weather conditions.

The Bicol Region, Quezon, Aurora, Isabela, and Cagayan will have isolated rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies with possible risks of flash floods or landslides.

Metro Manila and other parts of the country will see isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms, typically in the afternoon, posing some risk for flash floods or landslides.

Coastal waters throughout Luzon and Visayas are expected to experience slight to moderate waves with light to moderate winds moving from east to southeast, while Mindanao will have southwest to southeast winds with similar wave conditions.

PAGASA forecaster Rhea Torres noted that no weather disturbance is currently affecting the country but warned of potential southwest monsoon effects in the coming days.
