PAGASA warns: rains, thunderstorms in Eastern Visayas, Palawan, Dinagat Islands.

PAGASA has issued an updated weather advisory for Monday, January 27, indicating scattered rains and thunderstorms in several regions due to three main weather systems.

Eastern Visayas, Palawan, and Dinagat Islands will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms caused by a shear line, potentially leading to flash floods or landslides.

Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Davao Oriental, and the rest of Mindanao may also have scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the easterlies, posing risks for flash floods or landslides.

Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon will continue to see cold weather with partly cloudy skies and isolated light rains from the northeast monsoon (amihan), while Batanes will receive rainy conditions.

Coastal waters in Northern and Central Luzon are expected to be rough to very rough, whereas elsewhere they will have slight to moderate seas.
