PAGASA forecasts rain, thunderstorms over North and Central Luzon; scattered showers elsewhere due to Amihan and easterlies

PAGASA forecasts cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Northern and Central Luzon due to the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan), while easterlies will bring scattered rainy weather across other parts of the country.

Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, and Davao Oriental are expected to experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms that may trigger flash floods or landslides.

Batanes, Apayao, Cagayan, Isabela, and Aurora will observe cloudy skies with light rains due to the Amihan, while Metro Manila and other parts of the country will see partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

The Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, and CALABARZON can expect partly cloudy conditions with occasional light rain from the Amihan and easterlies.

Strong wind conditions and rough coastal waters are anticipated in extreme Northern Luzon, while moderate to strong winds and seas will impact central Luzon and other parts of Northern Luzon.

Light to moderate winds with slight to moderate sea conditions are expected elsewhere in the country, with residents advised to be cautious of potential flash floods or landslides.
