4 weather systems affect PH, bring rain and cloudy skies

Four weather systems continue to affect the Philippines on Thursday, November 28, bringing rain and cloudy skies across various regions.

The Shear Line is currently influencing Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Western Visayas, Bulacan, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Negros Occidental, Cebu, Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN, Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, and Palawan, causing scattered rains and thunderstorms.

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) affects Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora province, Ilocos Region, and the rest of Central Luzon with cloudy skies and rain, while isolated light rains are expected in parts of these regions.

Strong winds with rough seas are anticipated over the eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas, while moderate to strong winds with light to rough waters will be felt across the rest of the country.

State meteorologists caution possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.
