PAGASA issues thunderstorm advisory for Metro Manila and 4 provinces

Tuesday afternoon brought intense to torrential rains with lightning and strong winds to Metro Manila and four provinces in Luzon.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) issued a thunderstorm advisory at 3:08 p.m., warning residents of severe weather conditions.

Affected areas include Metro Manila, Bulacan, Batangas, Zambales, and Nueva Ecija, with Tarlac, Pampanga, Bataan, Quezon, Rizal, Cavite, and Laguna expected to experience moderate to heavy rains within the next two hours.

PAGASA warned that these conditions could persist for up to two hours and may impact nearby regions as well.

Residents are advised to take precautionary measures to ensure safety during this period due to potential flash floods and landslides.

The weather bureau reminded all individuals to be cautious of unfavorable weather conditions in the mentioned areas.
