PAGASA warns heavy rains, flash floods in Batanes, Cagayan; scattered rain showers elsewhere

PAGASA's Thursday forecast warns of cloudy skies and scattered rain showers with thunderstorms across parts of Northern Luzon due to a frontal system.

Batanes and Cagayan are expected to experience heavy rains, potentially leading to flash floods or landslides as warned by the state weather bureau.

Elsewhere in the country, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are anticipated due to easterly winds.

PAGASA advises that flash floods or landslides could occur in affected areas due to these weather conditions.

The rest of Northern Luzon and other parts of the Philippines will experience moderate to strong winds and rough waters, while light to moderate winds with slight to moderate seas are expected elsewhere.
