PAGASA issues thunderstorm advisory for Metro Manila, Luzon

Metro Manila and several provinces in Luzon will experience moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds within the next two to three hours, according to a thunderstorm advisory issued by PAGASA on Friday afternoon.

The affected regions include Metro Manila, Tarlac, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Quezon, Cavite, Batangas, Laguna, Zambales, and Bataan.

Heavy rains have already been reported in some areas of Luzon, with Cavite, Batangas, Laguna, Zambales, and Bataan experiencing rain that may persist for up to two hours.

PAGASA warned that the condition may continue to affect these regions and advised residents to take precautionary measures against potential hazards such as flash floods and landslides.
