PAGASA: 4 weather systems bring scattered rains nationwide

PAGASA reported on Monday that four weather systems could bring rains over large parts of the country due to a shear line and Northeast Monsoon (amihan).

Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected in Bicol Region, Quezon, Caraga, Davao Region, Bukidnon, Misamis Oriental, and Camiguin because of the shear line affecting South Luzon.

Cagayan Valley will experience cloudy skies with light rains from Amihan, while Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon may see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are forecast for most regions due to localized easterlies and thunderstorms.

PAGASA warned that severe weather conditions could cause flash floods or landslides in vulnerable areas, advising caution as no storm or typhoon is expected to affect the country.
