Amihan brings rains over parts of Luzon

PAGASA forecasts cloudy skies and scattered rain showers in parts of Luzon due to the northeast monsoon (Amihan) on Sunday.

Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, and Calabarzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to easterlies, potentially causing flash floods or landslides during severe storms.

Coastal waters in Luzon, Visayas, and northern and eastern Mindanao are expected to be moderate to rough with wave heights up to 4 meters.
