PAGASA forecasts scattered rains in Luzon, Mindanao

PAGASA forecasts cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in parts of Luzon and Mindanao due to a trough of low pressure area (LPA), shear line, and Northeast Monsoon.

Mindanao will experience scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the LPA’s trough, while Cagayan Valley and Aurora can expect rains from the shear line with possible flash floods or landslides.

The Ilocos Region and Cordillera Administrative Region will have isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon, while Metro Manila and other parts of the country will see partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers.
