Scattered rain showers affect parts of PH due to ITCZ and easterlies

Most parts of the Philippines will experience scattered rain showers on Sunday due to the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) and easterlies.

The ITCZ will primarily affect MIMAROPA, western Visayas, and Zamboanga peninsula with cloudy skies and scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, while easterlies may bring similar conditions to Bicol Region, Aurora, Quezon, Metro Manila, and other parts of Luzon.

Pagasa reports no weather disturbances within or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility but warns residents in affected areas about potential flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rainfall.

Light to moderate winds are expected nationwide without any gale warnings raised in any seaboards.

Metro Manila and other major cities such as Baguio, Tuguegarao, Laoag, Legazpi, Metro Cebu, Puerto Princesa, Metro Davao, and Zamboanga will have varying temperature ranges.
