PAGASA forecasts rain, thunderstorms over NCR, parts of Luzon, Visayas

Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecasts cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in parts of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao due to a shear line and trough of a low pressure area.

Areas including Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Davao Region, and Aurora will experience heavy rains causing possible flash floods or landslides.

The northeast monsoon brings cloudy skies with rain over Cagayan Valley while Ilocos Region and Cordillera Administrative Region have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

PAGASA warns of moderate to strong northeast winds and rough seas in Northern Luzon and eastern sections of Visayas, Central and Southern Mindanao.
