PAGASA: Rain alerts for Northern and Central Luzon, parts of Visayas

Three weather systems will bring rain to Northern and Central Luzon as well as parts of Visayas on Wednesday, according to PAGASA.

Isabela, Quirino, Aurora, and northern Quezon will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to a shear line, increasing the risk of flash floods or landslides from moderate to heavy rains.

The Cordillera Administrative Region and Cagayan Valley will have light rains due to Amihan but with no significant impact.

Ilocos Region and Central Luzon will see partly cloudy skies with isolated light rains because of the northeast monsoon, while Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon can expect partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

Isolated rain showers are expected in Visayas due to easterlies, while Mindanao will experience generally fair weather with chances of rain from localized thunderstorms.
