PAGASA warns of isolated rains and occasional showers in parts of Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported cloudy skies with isolated rains over Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao due to the easterlies on Wednesday.

Metro Manila and other parts of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with occasional rain showers or thunderstorms caused by the combined effects of the easterlies and localized weather conditions.

Wind speeds are forecasted to be light to moderate in Palawan, the Visayas, and Mindanao moving from east to northeast, while coastal waters will experience slight to moderate conditions.

In the rest of Luzon, wind speeds will range from light to moderate southeast to southwest with slight to moderate coastal waters.

PAGASA advised that flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms due to these weather conditions.
