PAGASA forecasts fair weather, scattered rain in South Luzon

PAGASA forecasts generally fair weather for most parts of the country on Saturday, with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms expected due to the shear line affecting Southern Luzon.

Aurora and northern Quezon province will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms from the easterlies, while Batanes and the Babuyan Islands can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to Amihan.

The Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon, while Metro Manila and surrounding areas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA warns of possible flash floods or landslides in Aurora, Quezon, Camarines Norte, and parts of Camarines Sur during moderate to heavy rains from the shear line.

The entire country will experience light to moderate winds moving northeast to east, with slight to moderate seas expected.
