Pagasa forecasts fair weather in Metro Manila, light rains in parts of Luzon

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) forecasts fair weather across most of Metro Manila and parts of Luzon on Sunday, with overcast skies and light rains expected in other areas.

Daniel James Villamil from Pagasa noted that the northeast monsoon will affect residents in Luzon, while easterly winds persist in Visayas and Mindanao.

Overcast skies and weak rains are anticipated in Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Aurora, Quezon, and Bicol Region due to localized thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and other regions of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Visayas and Mindanao will have overcast conditions and light rains caused by easterly winds and thunderstorms in Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and the Davao Region.

Pagasa warns residents in affected areas about possible flash floods or landslides.

No gale warning alerts were issued for any part of the country's seaboards on Sunday.
