Pagasa forecasts fair weather, light rains in North and Central Luzon

Most parts of the Philippines will experience fair weather with clear skies on Valentine's Day, according to Pagasa.

Light rains are expected in Northern and Central Luzon due to the northeast monsoon (amihan), while isolated rain showers may occur elsewhere in the country.

Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, and Calabarzon may see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains from amihan, while easterlies and localized thunderstorms can cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.

Southern Luzon will continue to experience rain showers and thunderstorms due to the shear line affecting Bicol Region, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, and southern Quezon.

No gale warnings are hoisted, with sea conditions generally safe for marine vessels; however, Pagasa advises caution in areas affected by rain showers.
