PDEA arrests five drug suspects, seizes PHP47M shabu in latest ops

From February 11 to February 15, police and PDEA arrested high-value drug suspects in various locations including Taguig, Caloocan City, Panabo City, Davao del Norte, Malolos City, Bulacan, Bacolod City, and San Carlos City.

In the latest operations on February 15, five suspected drug dealers were apprehended during a buy-bust operation in Malolos City by PDEA agents, resulting in the seizure of approximately PHP47.6 million worth of shabu.

On Tuesday, anti-drug operatives seized PHP3.6 million worth of shabu and weapons in three separate buy-busts in Bacolod and San Carlos cities.

In Bacolod City, 220 grams of shabu valued at PHP1.496 million were recovered from an alias Kenneth, while another operation yielded 150 grams of shabu worth PHP1.02 million from three suspects identified by their aliases Jason, Johnrey, and Charles.

In San Carlos City, two suspects were arrested during a pursuit operation after shooting a trooper of the Philippine Army's 79th Infantry Battalion; they were found in possession of 163 grams of shabu worth PHP1.106 million, as well as firearms and ammunition.
